Amber Schipper

Hi, my name is Amber Schipper, I am 20 years old and a student at the ROC Mondriaan in The Hague. I finished my level 3 programme and have now joined the specialized chef programme at level 4. This means that I am now starting my second year as a specialized chef. In this programme, we are meant to work in the kitchen for 4 days a week where we are trained by a chef in our organisation of choice.

In addition to those 4 days of work, I spend 1 day at school where I have theory lessons and outside excursions with my class. I have always had a passion for this profession, I love seeing how you can put such beautiful dishes on the table with fresh products and surprise guests with the combination of flavor explosions.

Outside of work, I enjoy going out with friends, even though I have little free time due to work. Yet my workplace feels like my second home!
